Senior Designer

Description Sustena is looking for talented designers to help conceive, refine and extend great ideas. Applicants must have a strong interest in brand identity and should be able to create logos, visual identity systems, brand guidelines and extend designs into specific programs such as stationery, collateral, presentations, email communications, websites and environments. Must be capable of meeting deadlines and working both collaboratively and independently. This role will be remote for now, but ideally this person lives in the NY/NJ/CT tri-state area.


  • Create conceptual designs based on strategic briefs and creative direction
  • Create design systems across a range of media: web, email, video, devices and print
  • Provide design support for client and new business teams including presentation development, workshop materials and client communications
  • Take ownership of projects and be willing and able to see them through to completion
  • Attend client, status and review meetings as needed
  • Work both independently and collaboratively, effectively prioritizing across projects and clients
  • Effectively communicate status of tasks and projects to stakeholders


  • Portfolio demonstrating logos and visual identity systems (Applicants without a portfolio will not be considered)
  • 5+ years related experience, branding agency experience a plus
  • Strong design, verbal, organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and PowerPoint
  • Experience with motion and/or working knowledge of the web is a plus, but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field or comparable experience
