Acclara Case Study
Patient Accounts Services (PAS) had a successful healthcare revenue cycle business focused primarily on patient financial responsibility for large academic health centers. What made them most unique was their heartfelt culture and the outstanding service they provided to clients’ patients. With a new infusion of capital from a leading private equity firm, PAS was looking to evolve its brand impact, improve its sales tools, and raise its market awareness. Concurrent with these efforts, the company merged with a like-minded company, The Sirrus Group (Sirrus), which focused on commercial insurance reimbursement. Together, they needed to define their new brand, market positioning, and go-to-market strategy.
As a result of our research process, we helped PAS and Sirrus reposition their business around the concept of “Patient-First Financial Excellence.” We renamed the company Acclara Solutions based on the clarity the combined organizations provide – helping patients understand their financial responsibility and providing health systems greater visibility into the uncollected revenue with their insurance partners. We then defined a fresh new visual brand, advanced their sales tools, created a new website, and launched Acclara into the market with a focus on celebrating their hard working ‘do things the right way’ culture and approach.
